God's abundant provision!
Jerry has been sharing with The Bridge about his vision for the future of our children's ministry. It is his desire to raise up children who are led by the Spirit so they can become spiritual leaders in our society--now and later!
This morning, Jerry spoke to the church about a special offering for the children's ministry. He said our first project is to purchase a new television so that the kids can enjoy worship videos and other multimedia productions.
One person donated enough for the television this morning! Praise God! All the other donations will now go that much further toward fulfilling the vision for our children's ministry!
Economists may say we're in a recession. But God's coffers are always full, and we are so thankful for His timely provision and for people who give with cheerful hearts!

Christmas Eve service
This year there will be a Christmas Eve service from 5:00-6:30 p.m. on December 24. We hope that you (and your friends and family) will be able to make it!
Coffee and lemonade will be served after the service, for a fellowship hour from 6:30-7:30. If you'd like to bring refreshments to share, you are welcome to, but it's strictly optional.
Please also note that there will be no Sunday morning service on Christmas. We hope you will enjoy this morning with your loved ones.
Merry Christmas! The miracle of Christ's birth was the start of something big! May you be blessed with extra awareness of His Spirit's presence this season.

Men's Breakfast, and Art Auction
Men's Breakfast
The next Men's breakfast is THIS Saturday (Dec. 10th) at 9am. The men will be meeting at Hoovers' restaurant again (north location--click here for map). At the last men's breakfast, everyone was talking about how awesome it went. All the men had a great time, there was great food and even an awesome testimony of being able to pray and encourage one of the workers there, so you don't want to miss out on this "Mighty Men" event. Make sure to invite your friends. Jerry will be back in town for this event too!
Art Auction
The Bridge Worship Art team is holding their first silent auction for some of the old pictures that were done last year during worship. We are cleaning up and preparing for next year that God is preparing us for. And instead of storing these pictures the artists have offered to sell them to anyone who is interested.
The large pictures bidding price starts at $10 and copy prints are starting at $5. We will be running the silent auction from now until the 24th of Dec. All money raised will go towards the Worship Arts Ministry for supplies and for investing in an art easel table.
All artwork that is up for bids are in the pink folder at the back table. If you have any questions regarding the artwork auction, please contact Marie.
Have a blessed week!
